Inn and Spa Policies and Reservations

Inn Policies 

  • Occupancy is limited to two adults age 18 or older per room.

  • The Stoltzfus and Fisher Suites can accommodate up to two additional adult guests by utilizing the sofa bed.  There would be a $35.00 per person per night fee in addition to the standard room charge. When booking online you must indicate the total number of guests in the note section.

  • We are not able to accommodate children or infants in any of our rooms.

  • We cannot accommodate pets.

  • All of our room are non-smoking.  Guests are welcome to smoke outside of their rooms.  If it is established that a guest has smoked in the room, they will be charged a minimum recovery and cleaning fee of $189.00

  • A credit card is needed to guarantee all reservations.  Credit cards accepted are: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.  If paying by check, payment must be received in full 7 days prior to arrival.

  • In addition to our own Inn & Spa gift certificates we also accept those from Bed&Breakfast.com, B&Bfinder, I Love Inns and Select Registry.

  • Our chef is generally able to provide a 5-course breakfast for our guests with special dietary needs or allergies when given a minimum of 48 hours notice.  Please be as detailed as possible in the notes portion when booking your reservation.  When booking less than 48 hours in advance our chef will do her best to accommodate special requests but may not be able to provide  the full five courses.   

  • Check-In begins at 3:00pm. If you are going to be later than 7:00pm kindly call the Inn and we will make other arrangements.

  • Check-Out is at noon.

  • Cancellation Policy: Since we are a smaller bed and breakfast cancellations significantly affect us and therefore we carry a 7 day change or cancellation policy.  The Inn & Spa requires a minimum of 7 days notice prior to your date of arrival to cancel or change a reservation without penalty.  In the event a reservation is cancelled after the 7 day policy, the guest would be charged the full amount of their stay.  However, every effort would be made to reschedule the reservation.   

Spa Policies

  • All appointments must be held with a credit card, call 1.800.801.2219 to make an appointment.
  • We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
  • No refunds on gift certificates and retail products.
  • Prices subject to change without prior notice.
  • Cancellation policy - we require at least 24 hours notice when canceling a treatment.
    There is a 50% charge for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, full charge for no shows.
  • The Spa at Intercourse Village is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

Spa Etiquette

  • Please turn off your cell phones upon arrival. The Spa at Intercourse Village likes to maintain a serene atmosphere when providing treatments.
  • Unless they have a scheduled appointment, children under 12 are not permitted in the Spa.
  • Excluding nail services, any guest under 18 requires parental consent.
  • Late arrivals will not receive time extensions and will be charged for a full scheduled service.
  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to appointment to complete paperwork for facials and body treatments so we can begin promptly.
  • Please do not shave for 48 hours prior to an Body Wrap treatment.

Spa Safety

  • If you are pregnant or have certain medical conditions, please speak to a technician prior to scheduling an appointment.
  • Please refrain from any nail treatment if you have the following health conditions: Fungus, Athlete's Foot, or Planters Warts.
  • Please note that you are liable for any charges incurred in the event that a medical condition or use of medication is not disclosed to our receptionist when scheduling a service.
  • Please inform your practitioner immediately if you feel pain or discomfort at any time of your treatment due to your medical condition.
  • Hospital grade disinfectants are used at The Spa at Intercourse Village, and we follow all state's guidelines for sanitation.

Gratuities

It is customary to give 15% to 20% gratuity to each of your technicians if you are satisfied with the service you have received.
