Holiday Family Fun at Dutch Wonderland

Looking for family fun options for the holidays, including New Year's Eve, suitable for children? Dutch Wonderland (the "Kingdom for Kids") is a royalty-themed amusement park designed especially for families with young children.

The fun at Dutch Wonderland doesn't stop when the temperature drops. In December, Dutch Wonderland becomes a Winter Wonderland with more than 20 rides and attractions open through the month (weekends and select weekdays). Kids (and adults) will enjoy the thousands of twinkling holiday lights in the fully decorated park, and Santa is on hand to greet your little ones.   

Dutch Wonderland offers the following special holiday events on December weekends:

• Give Back Weekend (December 11 & 12)
  Dutch Wonderland is partnering with the Sweet Pea Project to give back to the community. The Sweet Pea Project offers comfort, support and gentle guidance to families who have experienced the death of a baby. Donate a new store-bought baby blanket and receive free parking.
   
• Lancaster Craft Market (December 18 & 19)
  For one weekend only, Dutch Wonderland, in partnership with Discover Lancaster, hosts local artisans and craft vendors showcasing their unique offerings. The craft market is a great place to finish up your holiday gift shopping.  
   
• Duke's Diamond New Year (December 31, noon – 5 pm)
  Your little ones can join the Duke to welcome the new year at a kid-appropriate hour with a juice box toast, diamond drop, and music and dance fun.

Dutch Wonderland has been voted among the top amusement parks for young kids by Amusement Today magazine. The park is a short drive (15 minutes) east of the Inn & Spa at Intercourse Village. More details, including prices and park hours, are available online.
